Terms and Conditions for Re-evaluation Requests - ICSE Year 2026 Examination

Candidates who are not satisfied with their Recheck result in the subject(s) / paper(s), as applicable, will be permitted to apply for Re-evaluation of their answer script(s) in that / those subject(s) / paper(s) only. Applications for Re-evaluation can be submitted only for the subject(s) / paper(s) in which the candidate has applied for Recheck of results in the current year.
1. Re-evaluation is Paid Service. For each Re-evaluation request, Schools / Candidates will be required to pay a charge of Rs.1500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) per subject / paper (as applicable) per candidate, for the current year of Examination.
2. The charge(s) paid for Re-evaluation is/are non−refundable.
3. Payment for Re-evaluation requests being submitted to CISCE must be made online using the payment gateway.
The Online registration module for submitting Re-evaluation requests will be opened one day after the date of Declaration of the Recheck results and will be available for 03 (THREE) days. The date of the Declaration of Recheck results will be notified to all the stakeholders through the website of CISCE (https://cisce.org)
The accuracy of marks awarded will be checked on request, in one or more subjects / papers, provided the Head of the School / Candidate submits the application online. Applications submitted online for Re-evaluation must be received by CISCE within the stipulated time.
The Re-evaluation of the answer scripts will be carried out by a competent person appointed by the Chief Executive and Secretary of CISCE.
On Re-evaluation of the answer scripts, the marks awarded, whether increased or decreased, will be considered as the FINAL marks.
The results of all the Re-evaluation requests received by CISCE will be declared together on CISCE’s website (https://cisce.org) and on the CAREERS Portal.
No candidate, person or organisation shall be entitled to claim disclosure or inspection of the answer scripts (or copies) and other documents as these are treated as most confidential by CISCE.
CISCE will not be responsible for any loss or damage, or any inconvenience caused to the candidate consequent to the revision of marks and no claims in this regard shall be entertained.
Applications for Re-evaluation can be submitted for one or more subjects / paper(s), to a maximum number of subjects / papers for which the candidate has applied for Recheck in the current year of examination.
Application for Re-evaluation of the marks awarded to a particular candidate in a particular subject / paper can be submitted only once.
The Result documents of candidates who have applied for Re-evaluation of their answer script in one or more subjects/ papers and have received a change in marks upon Declaration of Results of Re-evaluation, must submit their previously issued result document to CISCE through their School to receive their amended result document. Additionally, the amended documents will be made available on the DigiLocker Portal.
The decision of the Chief Executive and Secretary of CISCE on the result of the scrutiny and Re-evaluation shall be final.
The Online Re-evaluation request made by the candidate on Public Service Module takes place in two phases:
1. Addition of Re-evaluation requests
2. Payment.

Note :Candidates can request their school to apply for Re-evaluation through the CAREERS Portal.

The results of the Re-evaluation requests will be made available on the website of CISCE (https://cisce.org) and on the CAREERS Portal.
